What is the difference between Strike Anywhere matches and Strike-on-Box matches?

Strike Anywhere matches have a green tip with an extra chemical tip on the match, usually white in color, that allows them to be struck and lit on any abrasive surface.  These matches usually have a “bulls-eye” looking tip.  Strike-on-Box matches require that the match be struck on the friction strip on the match box. Strike-on-Box matches do not have the extra chemical tip.

Do I have to worry about the color on my toothpicks bleeding on to my food?

No. Unlike competitive products that may discolor food when used, Diamond® party picks are colored with food-safe dyes and won't bleed!  Diamond® dyes are FDA approved and meet kosher standards for food-safe dyes.

What is the difference between round, square center round, and flat toothpicks?

The Diamond® brand sells several different kinds of toothpicks and three of our most popular are round, square center round, and flat toothpicks.  Round toothpicks are round all the way through the center and come to a point at both ends.  These are our most popular toothpicks and are used for everything from dental hygiene to appetizers.  The square center toothpicks are cut so they are square in the middle and come to a point at both ends.  These have the same uses as the round, but won't roll off the table when you set them down.  Flat toothpicks are flat along the entire toothpick.  These are perfect for baking purposes.  We also sell specialty toothpicks with frills or sword shapes great for decorating appetizers, or holding a sandwich together.

Are Diamond® and Forster the same brand?

In 2003, Jarden Corporation acquired Diamond® and OWD, adding those businesses to the Jarden Home Brands portfolio.  The Diamond® brand markets all of the toothpicks, matches, cutlery, clothespins/ clothesline, craft items, and straws previously sold under the Forster brand name.  Diamond® is the largest manufacturer of plastic cutlery and matches in the United States.
